Number of pant species that are endemic to Isparta region (that are specific to this geography and not found elsewhere) mount up to 860 mt.

 The region also has the climatic features of Aegean region and Marmara region. It is also known that Keçiborlu supplies %60 of the rose oil production. Globally famous lavender village is also in Keçiborlu. Numerous advantages of the region with respect to medical plants has also been instrumental in development of the region. Universities in the region have signed many significant studies on medical plants with accredited laboratories.
